Hotel Housing 101: Everything You Need to Know Before You Book

Kimmy and Janae are back with another video update for the 2026 National Conference — and this time, they’re covering all things housing.

If you’ve been following along with their series, you know these two make it easy to stay in the loop as we get closer to September. In this installment, they walk through the key details for booking your hotel room, including a few things you won’t want to miss.

Here’s a quick recap of what they cover:

You’re staying at the Capital Hilton. It’s right in the heart of Washington, D.C. — and yes, there are two Hiltons in the city with very similar names. We’re at the Capital Hilton, not the Washington Hilton. Double-check your reservation to make sure you’re in the right place!

Our special Aglow rate is $175/night (plus taxes and fees). This rate is only available when you book through this website — just click the Housing link or call the number listed and let them know you’re with Aglow International.

The room block runs August 31–September 8. That covers the full range of conference dates and then some. Need to arrive before the 31st or stay past the 8th? Call the Capital Hilton directly to book those extra nights at the hotel’s prevailing rate.

Housing closes Monday, August 3rd. This is the big one. After August 3rd, our group rate is no longer guaranteed and rooms will be based on availability. We’d love for you to secure your spot as soon as you register — don’t let this one slip by!

(One booking note: the hotel will collect a one-night deposit when you reserve your room. That’s standard practice and simply holds your reservation — the rest is paid at check-in.)

When you arrive, head to the hotel lobby and look for conference check-in near the coffee stand at the front. That’s where you’ll get checked in, grab your complimentary lanyard, and print your name badge. We’ll ask everyone to wear their lanyard and badge on the second floor — that’s where all our sessions are happening — as a simple security measure.

The Capital Hilton is a secure and welcoming property. You’re going to feel right at home.

Watch the full video above for all the details, and stay tuned — Kimmy and Janae have more updates on the way before we gather in D.C. this September!
